4 miles just about 40 even

Tonight I tried something different. I was asked to be running partner for a guy at work because he's trying to get in shape and I had told him that I run every day. So we went to a walking/bike path near work right after work and ran together. He had a device that tells you how far you've gone and how quickly you've gotten there, so I know we were pacing about 9.5 minute miles. Slow for me being that I usually run about 8.5 minute miles, but none-the-less it was an interesting change of pace from the treadmill. I think the next time we run together at the 2 mile mark (which is where we turned around) I might run ahead another 1/2 mile and then turn around and catch up so I can get in 5 miles. That way I can get a little better work out as well. He had to stop once and walk then at around 3.5 miles he told me to just go on ahead cause he was gonna walk the remainder. I did weigh into today at 191 again. I would kill to be in the 180s. Maybe later on this week. My body dimensions continue to improve and 34 pants that three weeks ago were snug now fit very nicely (you might even say loosely). So even though I'm not losing weight I'm definately loosing inches.
