4 miles --> 32:34 --> 9 days off, well not exactly...

So its been 9 days since my last blog entry. Anyone who lives in this area knows we had a windstorm blow through last Sunday and around 12:30 in the afternoon we lost power. It was out for our house until just yesterday at around 2:30pm. Six long days without power or refrigerator, or a hot water heater. I had taken last Saturday off as a natural course of my on/off cycle, which runs about 7 days of running and 1 day off. I did run the neighborhood streets on Tuesday and ticked out a five mile course with my car before running. It was a bit more challenging than the treadmill due to the hilly nature of my neighborhood. It was also a bit more impact on my shins and joints. I really like running on a treadmill better. So I haven't weighed in for several days and don't intend on doing so until the end of this week. Additionally, during the outage I ate badly and drank freely (alcohol - yeah call it a coping mechanism). So now as of today I'm back on induction (Atkins), and have restarted my exercise routine. I am dedicated to dropping down to my goal. I've been on/off again dieting for the past month and just maintaining my weight and building muscle. Now its time to drop body fat and get really lean. So bear with me for the next few weeks. I assure you it will be spectacular.
